3-day advanced wilderness first aid. Builds on WFA Level 1 with more complex trauma, pharmacology basics, and longer patient management scenarios.

Wilderness First Aid, Level 2

WFA Level 2 is a 3-day, 24-hour course that expands your wilderness medicine toolkit. Scenarios get harder and longer — you'll be expected to manage patients from initial assessment through packaging and evacuation decision.

What You'll Learn

  • All WFA Level 1 content, reviewed and reinforced
  • Advanced patient assessment and documentation
  • Multi-system trauma: thoracic injuries, abdominal emergencies
  • Pharmacology basics: indications, contraindications, and administration
  • Fluid and shock management in austere environments
  • Extended patient care: monitoring, reassessment, and documentation over hours
  • Complex evacuation planning and improvised carries
